Special Notice for Texas Residents: Consumers wishing to file a complaint against a mortgage banker, or a licensed mortgage banker residential mortgage loan originator should complete and send a complaint form to the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending, 2601 North Lamar, Suite 201, Austin, Texas 78705. Complaint forms and instructions may be obtained from the department’s website at http://www.sml.texas.gov. A toll-free consumer hotline is available at 1-877-276-5550. The Department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of a certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed banker residential mortgage loan originator. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the department prior to the payment of a claim. For more information about the recovery fund, please consult the department’s website at http://www.sml.texas.gov.

Special Notice for Illinois Residents: The Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Department) evaluates our performance in meeting the financial services needs of this community, including the needs of low-income to moderate-income households. The Department takes this evaluation into account when deciding on certain applications submitted by us for approval by the Department. Your involvement is encouraged. You may obtain a copy of our evaluations once the Department completes our first evaluation. You may also submit signed, written comments about our performance in meeting community financial services needs to the Department. We will update this notice when our first evaluation has been issued.

Oregon: The Oregon Division of Financial Regulation (DFR) oversees residential mortgage loan servicers who are responsible for servicing residential mortgage loans in connection with real property located in Oregon and persons required to have a license to service residential mortgage loans in this state. If you have questions regarding your residential mortgage loan, contact your servicer at 888-462-4891. To file a complaint about unlawful conduct by an Oregon licensee or a person required to have an Oregon license, call DFR at 888.877.4894 or visit DFR.OREGON.GOV.

New York: GenWay Home Mortgage is not licensed in the state of New York.

Vermont: Under Vermont law, we will not share information we collect about Vermont residents with companies outside of our corporate family, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent, to service your accounts or under joint marketing agreements with other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We will not share information about your credit worthiness within our corporate family except with your consent, but we may share information about our transactions or experiences with you within our corporate family without your consent.
